H.6. 21-2048 APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (LACMTA) FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AT ANITA STREET INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 41240, LACMTA MEASURE R PROJECT#: MR312.38
I respectfully request that this item be brought back to City Council once the City has attempted to contact each and every resident that will be impacted. It is not acceptable change the street, and impact parking without informing residents in advance. There is limited parking in the where this will occur, and there is no shortage of accidents where the city is thinking of doing this work. Countless residents have expressed their concern to me about the impact of this change to the street. Please take the time to solicit public input to ensure that moving forward honors the concerns of residents.
I request that Item H6 be pulled and placed on future Council Meeting agenda in "Items for Discussion Prior To Action."
I live on Anita Street and was NOT aware of this item. My neighbors on Anita are not aware of this item. Taking away parking that is at a premium on our street is NOT good for the neighborhood. All the parking spares are used every day and night. This is a 2 million dollar project and it needs input from the resident that live on Anita Street.
