Budgets across the country are strained. Residents across Redondo are in financial difficulty. We don't have the complete picture of how covid will impact many city revenue streams such as T.O.T. revenues. CALPERS is resetting their numbers and our contributions will rise. Manhattan Beach is moving forward with Pension Revenue Bonds and we have no plan to deal with increasing PERS costs. Until we know the new four year CALPERS numbers and have a better handle on revenue streams we should wait on employee raises
