My name is Matthew Hinsley and I am a resident of District 3. My comment is about the public availability of blue folder items. In the current environment of virtual meetings and e-comments the city of Redondo Beach has not come up with a good way to handle blue folder items. Currently the only way is to email the busy city clerk during on the day of a meeting is currently the only way to get a blue folder item one at a time. What used to be available in paper form prior to the start of a city council, or any other commission meeting, has not transferred well to this new online environment. There is currently no way for the public to see or have access to any blue folder item until weeks after a public meeting is held. Please consider a new way to may blue folder documents and items that the council or a commission is considering available online to the public prior to the meeting as they become available to the council or the commission.
